“Sometimes I’m asked about how many homes I’ve built, I guess I don’t really track what I do that way.  Every day in building is about problem-solving but, even more so, about performance management - meaning how to avoid problems to begin with.  The question should be about how many days have you been doing that and how many challenges have you conquered every day?  After almost 40 years, it’s not quantifiable.”
